Massaro Kozak Art Scholarship (MKAS)
The MKAS is a donor-advised charitable fund and one of the founding members of the Founder’s 50 with the Lakewood Ranch Community Fund. Privately funded, MKAS provides all of the administrative and accounting services for the Fund. Our selection of the Lakewood Ranch Community Fund and the Manatee Community Foundation was based on their commitment to the Community, and to prudent investments while maintaining excellence in the continued monitoring of the funds, and to ensure that all transactions are properly executed in accordance with IRS regulations. The Lakewood Ranch Community Fund
The Lakewood Ranch Community Fund was created as a charitable fund under the larger umbrella of the Manatee Community Foundation. Its mission is to enhance the quality of life in and near Lakewood Ranch by promoting philanthropy, connecting the charitable interests of donors with the ongoing needs of the community, and granting funds. The Lakewood Ranch Community Fund is a component fund of the Manatee Community Foundation, Inc. A 501(c)(3) Nonprofit Corporation. One hundred percent (100%) of each contribution is received by the Manatee Community Foundation.

The Manatee Community Foundation was established in 1998 as a charitable organization that provided the opportunity for individuals to create low-cost permanent charitable funds, the income of which can respond to needs in all areas: arts and culture, education (both public and private), the environment, health care, and human services.
